The Pre-Purchase inspection is generally the most exhaustive and usually lasts two days. A detailed inspection scope is provided prior to the inspection, which may be supplemented by special areas of concern or client’s needs. The inspection includes ultrasonic readings too, if permitted by the seller.

On completion of the inspection, an executive summary is prepared and sent via fax or E-mail within 24 hours, followed by the full report with photographs, copies of class records and relevant vessel plans by courier.

Class records are inspected by our superintendents at all principal classification offices. A detailed report follows, along with copies of relevant extracts from the records.

We have honed inspection skills to an art, using high tech tools and extensive use of the Internet to ensure that the client receives a high quality report, reflecting the true condition of the vessel in a most exhaustive manner, with the shortest turnaround time in the industry.

The client may be in direct contact with the superintendent via the Internet, so the feedback is continuous.

To this end we developed the concept of e-Reports, whereby the entire report is posted on the Internet for viewing by the client from office, home or various offices. The report is accessible only by the respective client with security built in, at client and server side. Click here to see.
